GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY HUHUGAM HERITAGE CENTER (GRIC)
INSPIRED DESIGN:
Gila River Indian Community’s rich cultural history provided a plethora of inspiration. DWL worked with the Gila River Indian Community, museum staff, stakeholders and the Tribal Projects Department to convert a previously unfinished space into a new museum exhibition area, lobby and museum store.
THOUGHTFUL STEWARDSHIP:
We designed a facility that thoughtfully displays Gila River Indian Community’s priceless artifacts that tell their tribal story.
CREATIVE TEAMWORK:
Intensive charrettes with Community members were held to design a facility that represents the their values and history, and will be a source of pride for generations to come.
ENDURING COMMITMENT:
