Surprise Stadium Clubhouse Improvements

DWL teamed with Populous to complete major renovations to the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers clubhouses. Each clubhouse expanded from 37,000 SF to approximately 49,500 SF. Improvements for players included remodeling portions of the existing facilities to create a new 6,000 SF major and minor league weight room and conditioning area. Training rooms were renovated with all new hydrotherapy equipment, and new spaces were added for media work and multipurpose meetings. Dining rooms were also upgraded to include full kitchens.

Additional improvements included enhanced spaces for coaches and support staff to increase overall team efficiency. A 1,600 SF outdoor workout area with artificial turf and a canopy was added adjacent to the weight room. The project also included installation of a retractable netting system within the covered hitting tunnels.
