Prescott Regional Airport (PRC) Terminal Replacement

Project Details

The new 18,000 SF terminal building at Prescott Regional Airport is a modern interpretation of the region’s historical and cultural influences as well as geographic features, while retaining the authentic and rustic nature of the Prescott area. As the linear and expandable building negotiates between the elements of ground and sky, an intuitive open floor plan emerges, creating opportunities to frame views of the surrounding context, allowing abundant natural light to wash over the interiors, and providing a convenient and efficient airport for all passengers, airlines and tenants. Replacing an antiquated 1948 terminal, this project dramatically improves safety, security and efficiency while enhancing the passenger and community experience.
