Project Details
Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, the Public Safety Facility is a new, single-story, 42,885 SF shared-use building serving police, EMS and fire departments. It includes six drive-through apparatus bays, administrative offices and a 3,455 SF community room. Living quarters for EMS personnel and firefighters are thoughtfully integrated and include 20 dormitories along with a kitchen, dining area and laundry. A fitness room with roll-up doors opens directly to an outdoor turf area, supporting training and wellness for police, EMS and fire personnel. The building also features a dedicated kennel and yard for the K-9 unit. Outdoor amenities extend the functionality of the facility and include a covered front patio and a rear BBQ and dining area.
