Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (COS) Concourse Modernization

DWL served as the Aviation Architect following a major fire and conducted a two-day design charrette and developed design drawings for a phased modernization of the whole terminal, including ticketing, pre-security lounge and baggage claim. The Concourse Modernization creates a “Mountain Modern” aesthetic reflecting the lifestyle of Colorado Springs. Upgrades include restrooms, ADA compliance, technology and mechanical systems, gate portals, lounge, flooring, concessions and seating areas.
