Scottsdale Airport Ross Aviation Hangars

This ongoing project is a hangar replacement for Ross Aviation, an Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Scottsdale Airport. The work includes extensive site modifications to reconfigure parking, utilities and landscaping to meet FBO, Airport and City of Scottsdale requirements. The hangar is to be 56,000 SF, separated into two 28,000 SF bays. Each hangar is to have a 28’ high by 120’ wide door, to qualify for NFPA GroupII requirements. The hangar doors are to be independently operated for maximum flexibility. The hangar building is constructed as a slab on grade with tilt-up concrete walls, steel truss roof framing and TPO roofing system. Each hangar bay is provided with an adjacent 3,000 SF office space with two single-user restrooms. Parking for a minimum of 52 vehicles is provided with shade canopies.
