Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Aviation Center
Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Aviation Center (Building 45), FBO Conceptual Improvements – This facility has been remodeled a number of times over the past 40 years. The main goal of this project was to implement a comprehensive renovation to create a more customer service and hospitality oriented facility. Building 45 was originally constructed in 1974 as a flight training facility for Williams Air Force Base. In 1993, the base was closed and the airport opened in 1994. Since then, Building 45 has been a home for a full-service FBO (Fixed-Base Operator).
