DWL Architects

Midwestern University – Glendale, Arizona

In 1995, DWL Architects began a long-standing partnership with Midwestern University (MWU), a leading Osteopathic Medical College located in Glendale, Arizona and Downers Grove, Illinois. More than 20 years ago, DWL worked with MWU to develop a 145-acre master plan for their Glendale campus, as an extension of the University’s suburban Chicago campus.

Today, we continue our successful relationship with MWU on both campuses, transforming the academic and student experience. DWL has designed 45 buildings and more than two million square feet of space at the Glendale campus alone, with more on the way. Designing a wide variety of building types from standard classrooms to multispecialty clinics and a veterinary medicine school, DWL has the ability to design flexible spaces that accommodate the continuous evolution of technology, staffing and curriculum.
