Maricopa County Public Health East - Mesa Clinic
Project Details
The Maricopa County Public Health East – Mesa Clinic is a single-story, 27,653 SF tenant improvement project that includes the demolition and replacement of interior partitions, flooring and ceiling finish systems, lighting and controls, air distribution and mechanical equipment, plumbing fixtures and casework. The health center houses the Office of Vital Records (OVR), Immunizations and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) departments, along with flexible and hoteling space, common staff areas and a combined lobby with multiple reception points organized around a central court.
Through collaborative design sessions, the team integrated County standards, user workflows and client-specific needs into a cohesive solution. Each department features a layout and finish palette tailored to its operations, unified by an intuitive wayfinding strategy using vibrant colors. The central lobby connects all public-facing departments, with a children’s area at its core. To address the client’s priority for sound attenuation, DWL introduced innovative acoustic solutions that support a dynamic and welcoming environment designed to inspire vitality and adapt to future needs.
