Pipeline Worldwide Competition

This year, DWL participated in Pipeline’s Worldwide Battle of the Boxes Competition to support healthcare workers in Uganda. This competition challenged three teams to convert a standard shipping container into practical residential units for healthcare workers in East Africa. Our team, #1Team4Uganda – DWL Architects + Planners, DMB, McCarthy Building Companies, East Valley Institute of Technology, Clearway Energy and HonorHealth – was honored and beyond grateful to have received four of the six awards.

Our container was be shipped overseas to Uganda, Africa where it will provide housing for six healthcare workers at a refugee settlement. A huge thank you to all team members involved for all your dedication and hard work to accomplish such a successful project.
