Coming from a family of aviators, and as a licensed pilot, Sandra Kukla joined DWL to guide her architectural career toward the design of airport facilities. She has melded this personal interest with her previous architectural experience in retail and education to the design of several projects for Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

In her 11 years as an airport specialist, she has executed all phases of design, including proposals, charettes and presentations, site feasibility studies, initial planning and programming, schematic design, design development and construction administration.

Through her on going commitment and dedication Sandy was recently elected Associate Director to the Arizona Airports Association Board of Directors.
