The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine was the first facility of its kind to be established in the U.S. in over twenty years. The School is located within two existing buildings: one 82,900 s.f., two-story facility houses clinical exam units, biological sciences and public health classrooms, materials laboratories, seminar rooms, and administrative/office spaces; the second building is split-level, where the school occupies approximately 15,000 s.f. for additional faculty space, lecture halls, seminar rooms, and a forensic pathology and computer-based anatomy lab.

The focus of the University’s School of Dental Medicine is on pre-doctoral clinical training and providing comprehensive, low cost dental services to Southern Nevadans. The design team assisted the University in developing a facility that meets the needs of students, faculty and the community. This project was built in collaboration with CSA Architects.
