Mesa Community College - Life Science Building, Mesa, Arizona
The Life Science Building at Mesa Community College addresses the trend toward integrated technology and collaborative learning. The primary design goal for this building was to present a modern face to the campus, established in the early 1960s, as it extends into the
surrounding community.

The Life Science Building combines technology-equipped flexible laboratories, preparation rooms, and easily-reconfigured classrooms that allow rearrangement for new courses.
Glass-walled collaborative study rooms face an open study garden, allowing faculty and students to freely interact and broadening the teaching and learning experience. Program elements for the Life Science Center include science laboratories, instructional/computer classrooms, student study rooms, exterior teaching areas and an outdoor amphitheater.
