The 36,000 s.f. Medical Clinic, located on Midwestern University’s Glendale, Arizona campus, provides health care to the public, as well as to students and their families. The facility was designed to offer an opportunity for alumni to practice in conjunction with the University’s medical education program. Within this full-service health care facility are fully licensed physicians in multiple specialty areas, including Family Medicine, Optometry, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Pharmacy Services, Podiatry, and Psychological Assessment and Therapy.
As an added feature, the Clinic houses a one-bay medic station for the Glendale Fire Department. This location allows for faster service to the growing foothills area of Glendale, and medical students are able to participate in observational “ride-along's” with the paramedics.
The Medical Clinic is Phase 1 of a three-building Medical Arts complex. Currently under construction are buildings two and three, which will be the Dental Clinic and Optometry Clinic. The final phase will be a Healing Garden located central to all three buildings.
